Charles “Packy” Axton, a tenor saxophonist and boy of Stax co-owner Estelle Axton, formed his own music group within the mid-’60s. He once was within the Mar-Keys. They reworked a vintage tune, “Gap in the Wall structure,” and arrived lots five R&B strike in 1965. It had been their lone graph entry.
