A supergroup made up of nation music legends Waylon Jennings, Mel Tillis, Bobby Bare, and Jerry Reed, the Aged Canines were formed after Bare complained to writer Shel Silverstein that there have been no good music about ageing. Silverstein proceeded to pencil an album’s worthy of of material about them, with the outcome forming the foundation for the Aged Canines’ 1998 Atlantic Information debut.
