The Number Ones

THE QUANTITY Ones (in addition they spell it the #1s or the #No.1s sometimes) certainly are a rock-band whose music embraces the scrappy energy of first-wave punk rock and roll as well while the hooky melodies (and occasionally brokenhearted feeling) of ’70s power pop. Located in Dublin, Ireland, the quantity Ones were shaped in 2011 by four teenagers with encounter in additional poppy and punky clothes; guitarist and vocalist Eddie Kenrick was an associate of Group Control, Strong Kids, as well as the Bang Bros, while guitarist and vocalist Seán Goucher also caused the Cheap Freaks, and both bassist and vocalist Cian Nugent and drummer Conor Lumsden performed with Cian Nugent & the Cosmos. After liberating a small number of 7″ vinyl fabric singles, the quantity Types struck a cope with the U.K. punk label Static Surprise Records; primarily documented within their rehearsal space in one day time, the group’s self-titled recording premiered in August 2014.
