The No-No’s began in Portland, Oregon in 1995 with the collaboration of former Tiger Trap vocalist Heather Dunn on drums and her friend Robin on vocals. After recruiting guitarist Mike Clark and Halo Banders bassist Ralf Youtz, the finished line-up was accompanied by several demos and weekend travels. Ross Information released the group’s debut one “New Types Anthem” in 1997, leading to immediate Tiger Snare and Fastback evaluations. The cross types of indie-pop-punk continuing in 1999 because the group’s very own Chromosome Records released the album Magic formula Luminaries in January 1999. Dunn departed immediately after its discharge to become listed on the Bangs and Dub Narcotic AUDIO SYSTEM. The No-No’s continuing on as Chromosome released the 2000 EP Damage Done as well as the full-length Tinnitus in middle-2000.
