An alt-country, Americana-styled root base rock band away of Sacramento, California comprising drummer Christopher Amaral, vocalist and guitarist Tony Brusca, bassist and vocalist Paul Zinn, and business lead guitarist and singer Steve Amaral, the Nickel Slots were shaped in 2008, and their shiny, energetic audio, which at its best crosses Johnny Money country using a punk veneer, garnered them a keen and loyal group of fans. The music group self-released two albums, the eponymous Nickel Slot machine games in ’09 2009 and 2011’s Five Mls Gone, both which impressed critics and extended the group’s viewers.
