The New Rags

Brooklyn-based group the brand new Rags bill themselves as the world’s just pop-rock-ragtime duo. That duo includes Tom Merrigan (who takes on a Fender Rhodes electrical piano and sings) and Andrew Pierce (who drums). They self-released their debut EP, Consider Jennie to Brooklyn, in 2005. “Your Space,” a monitor from the disk, became popular in Japan and later on was remixed by DJ Z-Trip for make use of within an Australian Nike industrial.
