The Neon Judgement

Belgian duo Neon Judgement [sic] veered between minimalistic commercial drones and unusual, fresh wave-ish synth pop and dance music, underlain by chilly, mechanical rhythms. Comprising keyboardist/vocalist Dirk Da Davo and guitarist/vocalist T.B. Frank, the Neon Judgement documented the majority of its result for the Play It Once again Sam label in Belgium, you start with 1986’s Mafu Cage. Although they started recording back 1981 (a time documented within the 1989 compilation General Discomfort and Main Disease), their 1st American release didn’t arrive until 1987, using the sex-themed idea recording Horny As Hell. Following recordings included Bloodstream and Thunder (1989), The Insult (1990), and so are You Actual (1992). The duo required a three-year hiatus to rethink the path of the music, and they came back in 1995 with At Devil’s Fork, an LP documented with percussionist Ben Forceville completely inside a wooded area.
