The Neighbourhood

Genre-crossing clothing the Neighbourhood mix atmospheric indie rock and roll, electronica, and hip-hop beats with melodic R&B-inflected vocals. Shaped in LA in 2011, the music group centers around business lead singer Jesse Adam Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, bassist Michael Margott, and drummer Brandon Fried. In 2012, the Neighbourhood released the EP I AM SORRY…, offering such singles simply because “Sweater Weather conditions” and “Feminine Robbery.” In 2013, they shipped the two-song EP MANY THANKS being a prelude with their debut record, I REALLY LIKE You, that was released that same season. The group’s long-delayed mixtape record #000000 & #FFFFFF made an appearance as a free of charge download on the web in 2014. Included on the record was the one “icanteven,” offering French Montana. In 2015, the Neighbourhood released their sophomore full-length record, the Justyn Pilbrow-produced DESTROYED!
