The Negatones

The Negatones were formed by brothers Jay and Justin Braun in 1997. Jay Braun (vocals, electric guitar, keyboards) have been a member from the Music group of Susans on the final tours, after that had performed bass within the Mooney Suzuki on two UNITED STATES tours, but dropped to become listed on the music group formally. Rather, he teamed up with Justin Braun (vocals, bass) and Jun Takeshta (electric guitar, xylophone, keyboards), who acquired known the brothers in senior high school to create the Negatones. Several drummers emerged and proceeded to go until past due 2000 when Jesse Wallace became a keeper. Whilst getting the music group on its ft, the Braun brothers worked well as documenting assistants, ultimately amassing enough cash to record the Negatones’ debut EP, The Weighty EP, that they released in-may 2002 to reviews that are positive. Another EP, Snacktronica, adopted in 2003.
