Brit-pop got a fresh face in the brand new millennium, because of the burgeoning reputation of new rings want Coldplay and Doves. The Music strike the street with Coldplay for the two-month run in the us and released their sophomore work, Thanks for visiting the North, through the fall of 2004. The record also fared well in the band’s indigenous U.K., however the Music took a protracted break in the spotlight even though frontman Robert Harvey searched for help for his dependence on alcohol. Power in Figures, the band’s third full-length work, marked their come back in June 2008.
