Using a big nod to Serge Gainsbourg and classic intimate pop, the Music Lovers is led by Teddy Edwards (vocals/guitar). Blessed in Birmingham, Britain, Edwards transferred to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA in 1994 even though functioning as an MC fulfilled bassist Jon Brooder. They added Paul Comaskey on drums, completing the very first lineup from the band. Soon after their initial show in NY in 2002 with a demonstration at hand, the Music Enthusiasts were authorized to Le Grand Magistery, which released the EP Cheap Tracks Tell THE REALITY in November 2003. The very first full-length, WHAT We State Before We Rest, followed in Oct 2004. In early 2005 Comaskey remaining the music group, while ex-Nelories member Jun Kurihara (piano, accordion), Colin Sherlock (drums), and Bryan Cain (acoustic guitar) joined. The brand new lineup documented The Music Enthusiasts’ Guidebook for TEENAGERS, released in Sept 2006.
