Appearing out of the effervescent early-’90s LA rave scene, the Movement had been a trio created by producers Richard “Humpty” Vission and AJ Mora, and rapper/producer/dancer DJ Hazze. Maker and record market physique Walter “Kandor” Khan authorized the group to his Sunlight label in 1992; the trio striking paydirt right from the start, as their debut solitary, the anthemic “Jump!,” became a dancefloor smash that same 12 months and even handled something of the pop crossover, thanks a lot in no little component to its (still even today) adoption like a sports activities anthem.
