The Motions

A fairly typical Dutch “defeat” band of the 1960s, the Movements were quite popular within their local property, releasing seven albums and over 27 singles within their eight-year profession. Far from the very best Dutch group, and definately not the worst, the majority of their strikes were fairly normal fare, which range from dippy folkish ballads to challenging mod rockers. Their finest cut may be the favorably ferocious mod stomper “Everything That’s Mine” (1966), using a searing reviews break worth the first Who. They’re actually most remembered because of their business lead guitarist and songwriter, Robby truck Leeuwen, who still left in 1967 to create Stunning Blue, and penned that group’s worldwide smash, “Venus.”
