The Morells

A long-running roots rock and roll ensemble, the Morells formed in Springfield, Missouri in the first ’80s. Born from several other rings like the Symptoms as well as the Skeletons, the Morells included guitarist D. Clinton Thompson, bassist Lou Whitney, and keyboardists Kelly Dark brown, Joe Terry, and Maralie Terry, in addition to drummer Ron Gremp and saxophone participant Jim Martin. They released their debut recording, Shake and Drive, in 1982. Though it might be over twenty years before another Morells recording appeared, the users stayed active in a variety of tasks including both Thompson and Whitney support Steve Forbert because the Skeletons. In 2001, a re-formed edition from the Morells released their self-titled sophomore recording. Another recording, CONSIDER IT, made an appearance on Hightone in 2005.
