Founded by keyboard player Eric Denton and bass player Bob “Monroe” Davis, the NORTH PARK quintet the Monroes mildly flirted with success because the consequence of the infectious one “What Do All of the People Understand.” Using a lineup which was curved out by vocalist Jesus Ortiz, guitarist Rusty Jones, and drummer Jonnie Gilstrap, The Monroes record, a five-song EP, premiered in 1982 through Japanese label Alfa. When Alfa folded, “What Perform All of the People Understand,” which have been attaining momentum, stalled at amount 59 for the pop graphs. Little more will be noticed from the music group, although Denton and Davis soldiered on for the rest of the 10 years and “What Perform All of the People Understand” began showing up on new influx compilations through the ’90s.
