The Mint Chicks

An uninhibited punk and post-hardcore music group from Auckland, New Zealand, the Mint Chicks — Michael Logie (bass), Kody Nielson (vocals, piano), Ruban Nielson (electric guitar), and Paul Roper (drums) — shaped in 2001 and signed to the Traveling Nun label a few years later on, debuting using the six-song Octagon, Octagon, Octagon EP. Another EP for the label, Anti-Tiger, implemented eight months afterwards, however, not before a one-off one for Fierce Panda. In just a matter of months, the music group proceeded to go from headlining its small displays in its homeland to playing overseas and starting for famous brands TV on the air, the Light Stripes, as well as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. They documented their first recording, F**k the Golden Youngsters, after a spate of trips in 2005 and adopted it using the more melodically created Crazy? Yes! Dumb? No! in 2006.
