If they assembled in Minneapolis in nov 2003 to record their eponymous debut album, the Mighty Nimbus convened quite the assortment of American sludge/doom/stoner rock and roll professionals: former Sixty Watt Shaman users Dan Soren (vocals) and “Minnesota” Pete Campbell (acoustic guitar), ex-Electric Chair Horror bassist Dinis de Carvalho, ex-Chaos Witch drummer Andy Campbell, and perhaps most significant of most, ever-inspired Alabama Thunderpussy guitarist Erik Larson. The very first and last of the decided to continue their additional pursuits soon after concluding focus on the LP, that was released to great acclaim the next 12 months by Candlelight Information, but vocalist Alex “The Yeti” Petrovic was quickly tapped to fill up the void and Larson as well was coaxed back again long enough to become listed on the Mighty Nimbus on the following American tour to get Entombed, Crowbar, and Pro-Pain.
