The Micronauts

Parisian electro duo the Micronauts teamed Christophe Monier (who previously documented under his very own name along with the alias Discotique) and Canadian-born George Issakidis, whom migrated to France in 1990. Both met while focusing on the fanzine Eden, and in 1995 released the Micronauts 12-in . “The Jazz”; the record was championed within the press from the Chemical substance Brothers, and subsequently Monier and Issakidis remixed the Chemical substances’ strike “Stop Rockin’ Is better than.” Following Micronauts produces including 1996’s “Obtain Funky Obtain Down” followed prior to the duo authorized to Astralwerks to create their American debut with 1999’s “The Jag” and the next year’s Bleep to Bleep.
