Led by vocalist Jo Walston and songwriter/guitarist Expenses Anderson, the insurgent country strap the Meats Purveyors hailed from Austin, Tx. After signing towards the Bloodshot label, the group released their debut LP, Nice in the Trousers, in early 1998. Even more Songs About Structures and Cows adopted a year later on.
