The Maroons

Currently established members from the Northwest music scene just before they came collectively in 1993, the Maroons — 1st made up of singer/guitarist John Moen (who was simply a drummer for Elliott Smith, Pete Krebs & Gossamer Wings, Heatmiser, as well as the Spinanes, amongst others), guitarist Jim Talstra (who played in the Minus 5), bassist John Cox (section of Satan’s Pilgrims), and drummer Eric Bennes — introduced themselves and their make of indie pop to all of those other world in 1996 using their debut, We Am at fault, about Slo-Mo Records. After adding keyboardist Mike Clark (who performed in Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks with Moen), the Maroons (most of whom have been busy using their different side tasks) released You’re Gonna Wreck Everything on In Music We Rely upon 2002.
