This four-piece gospel group comprised two white and two black singers and was formed in 1942 in the Coast Guard in Manhattan Beach in NY, USA. The group comprised Thomas Lockard, Wayne O. Lewis, Nathaniel Dickerson and Martin Karl (who experienced previously performed using the Chicago Opera). The group toured the brand new York State region and visited many Pacific pressure bases during 1945. Radio broadcasts brought these to the eye of Arthur Godfrey, plus they had been regulars on his radio display for quite some time after the battle. They documented ‘On The Isle Of Oahu’ for Columbia Information in 1949, but their 1st strike was ‘Sometime’ in 1950. The operate of successes continuing with ‘They Contact The Blowing wind Maria’ and ‘I START TO SEE THE Moon’, their last and biggest strike, at quantity 14 in 1952.
