Led by a artist who performs and sings with an extraordinary amount of seasoned maturity and passion, the Marcus Ruler Band perform a hearty combination of soul, blues, rock and roll, and jazz, with Marcus Ruler fronting the group on lead vocals and guitar. Marcus Ruler was created in Greenville, SC on March 11, 1996. His dad, Marvin Ruler, was a well-known blues guitarist in SC who also used gospel serves, and his grandfather was also a regionally well-known musician. Marcus Ruler was barely away of diapers when he first found a guitar, with age group eight, he began playing shows along with his dad. Haynes tapped the Marcus Ruler Band to open up displays for Gov’t Mule, and he reissued Spirit Understanding on his Wicked Teen Information label. Haynes’ championing of the group helped pass on the news headlines about their music, as well as the music group soon landed an archive cope with the venerable 3rd party label Fantasy Information. Personnel shakeups resulted in a fresh lineup from the Marcus Ruler Music group, with Abercrombie and Home departing the group, while Ruler and Ryan had been joined up with by Stephen Campbell on bass, Matt Jennings on keyboards, Dean Mitchell on sax, and Justin Johnson on trumpet and trombone.
