The Magic Carpathians

Multi-instrumentalist Marek Styczynski and vocalist Anna Nacher, formerly from the eclectic Polish music group Atman, shaped the Magic Carpathians in 1999 using a loose coterie of the friends, getting into a far more experimental trajectory than their previous music group. Combining consumer electronics with traditional equipment and motifs from all over the world, the Carpathians play what could just be referred to as ethno-folk deathcore. The group released its initial record in 1999 on the Take a flight Music label, entitled Ethnocore. They implemented in June of 2000 with Reserve of Utopia, released over the Obuh label. Ethnocore 2: Nytu made an appearance in springtime 2001.
