The Machine for Making Sense

Australian avant-garde cooperative Machine to make Feeling was founded in the past due ’80s to blend speech and improvisation and has since performed in Europe and THE UNITED STATES, aswell as Australia. The group includes hurdy-gurdy participant and violinist Stevie Wishart, poets/vocalists Amanda Stewart and Chris Mann, Jim Denley on winds, and Rik Rue on examples and tape, most of whom get excited about a number of additional projects. They have already been described as related in nature to AMM and Jon Rose and also have documented for O.O. Discs.
