The Lustre Kings

Rockabilly guitarist Tag Gamsjager may be the traveling force in back of the Lustre Kings, the band he formed within the mid-’90s to accompany his performances. Their debut record, 1997’s Tag Gamsjager Stones & Lustre Kings Move, was well-known in roots rock and roll and rockabilly circles, offering Gamsjager the opportunity to perform with many of his contemporaries. The music group continued to employ itself out to celebrations and wedding ceremony while focusing on new material, ultimately surfacing in 2000 as Once a Ruler, Always a Ruler.
