Following the disbanding of Parker & Lily, P.L. Noon (aka Parker Noon) come up with the haunting, lo-fi noise-drenched Low Lows, called after Parker & Lily’s last recording. Sound engineer Daniel Rickard (acoustic guitar, body organ, bass) and Jeremy Wheatley (drums), both of whom experienced became a member of Parker & Lily for the ultimate record, continuing with Noon for the brand new music group. They released Open fire around the Shiny Sky in Sept 2006, another full-length, Shining Assault, adopted in 2008. Amid revolving lineups, including their occasionally 14-piece touring music group, a third recording was repeatedly postponed until 2014 when Noon, at that time going from the name Monk Parker, announced a rebranding from the music group, also to become known as Monk Parker. Their debut recording, The way the Spark Enjoys the Tinder, found its way to 2015.
