The Lovers Key

Inspired by vintage soul and R&B but boasting today’s, pop-wise advantage in the production and songwriting, the Fans Key was shaped by composer and multi-instrumentalist Christopher Moll of Discover Venus as well as the Postmarks. This year 2010, following the 3rd party success from the Postmarks’ 2009 work Memoirs by the end from the Globe, the group got a hiatus, and in a short time Moll became creatively restless. As Moll battled to write brand-new material, he considered his like of classic spirit and tempo & blues noises from the ’60s, and began searching for the proper vocalist to brings his tracks alive. After putting an advertisement searching for performers, Moll noticed from Maco Monthervil, a vocalist using a interest for vintage spirit who, after getting turned down for gigs because his vocal design wasn’t always an excellent fit for contemporary R&B, was impressed by Moll’s set of preferred performers. Monthervil replied, “I really like the musical affects you’ve detailed…I’m a vocalist and even if you are not really interested, please simply write back again.” Moll squandered no time getting back in contact, and soon both began composing and recording jointly, naming their brand-new project the Fans Key.
