The Long Vision is a rock duo formed by guitarist/vocalist Karl Sturk and drummer Patrice Scinta in the summertime of 2009 in Brooklyn. Along with keyboardist/songwriter Jansen Swy, both had previously performed collectively in moody garage area trio the All-Night Drive when they had been surviving in Detroit, but upon relocating to Brooklyn, the duo re-formed inside a stripped-down construction, dropping the secrets for a far more rudimentary audio. They performed locally for 3 years, posting expenses with Sturk’s additional project, Palmyra, aswell as Chris Bathgate, Matt Jones, Adam’s Castle, Drunken Barn Dance, and additional luminaries from the Michigan-via-Brooklyn indie rock and roll network. Their 1st album, Gaslighting, premiered online in past due 2012.
