The Little Dippers

One of the groups of performers formed by successful back-up vocalist/group innovator/maker Anita Kerr, the tiny Dippers had 1 US Top 10 solitary, ‘Forever’, in 1960, before disappearing forever themselves. The quartet comprised Delores Dinning, Emily Gilmore, Darrell McCall and Hurshel Wigintin. Compiled by well-known Nashville article writer/producer Friend Killen, ‘Forever’ premiered on University Information. Though it reached #9 9 in 1960, no additional record by that one aggregation ever charted.
