The Lemon Twigs

Channeling the baroque rock and roll from the ’60s, Prolonged Island brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario began the Lemon Twigs while these were even now teenagers. Like their dad, Ronnie D’Addario, the siblings performed multiple instruments, keeping track of electric guitar, keyboards, drums, horns, and strings on the set of proficiencies. Furthermore to Harry Nilsson, Todd Rundgren, Big Superstar, and Brian Wilson, the D’Addarios counted the Beatles, Wings, as well as the Zombies as main influences. Ideas of contemporary performers like Sunflower Bean, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, and Methyl Ethel also arrive through on the debut one, “These Phrases” b/w “So long as We’re Jointly.” The Lemon Twigs agreed upon with 4AD in 2015 and released their debut, Perform Hollywood, the next year. Made by Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado, Perform Hollywood was backed with a tour that included Danny Ayala on keyboards and Megan Zeankowski on bass.
