The Kerosene Brothers

Biography

Few bands open for themselves when performing. Once the same music artists flip in one music group called Kerosene Brothers to some other called Hayseed Dixie (even more Appalachian hillbilly design), that may and will happen. The brand of both rings is the quantity of alcoholic beverages the music artists consume while executing, and they frequently switch styles in one music group towards the other throughout a efficiency. John Wheeler (aka Barley Scotch) received his 1st acoustic guitar like a Xmas present from his dad and began creating his personal country edition of rock tracks. During university he performed fraternity celebrations with various rings and discovered that the crowds sang along when he released the AC/DC addresses. He had discovered his market and going for Nashville where he do program playing. After Wheeler fulfilled brothers Dale Reno (aka Enus Younger) and Don Wayne Reno, the three shaped the Kerosene Brothers. They made a decision to cut some demos of AC/DC tracks during among their beer-drinking jam classes. In 2001, these demos resulted in a full-length recording, A Hillbilly Tribute to AC/DC, which offered over 100,000 copies and reached quantity 14 at the top Internet Albums Graph in 2001; quantity 47 at the top Country Albums graph; and, in Australia (house of AC/DC), quantity five on the united states Graphs. The trio, alongside people Dave Harrison and Jake Byers, released that record beneath the music group name Hayseed Dixie, plus they performed over 100 live times during the summer season and fall of 2001. IN-MAY, 2002, while keeping the persona from the Kerosene Brothers in the backdrop, Hayseed Dixie documented A Hillbilly Tribute to Hill Like, which reached quantity 39 for the graphs. “Mountain like” because of this recording meant an assortment of tunes about drinking, eliminating, and cheating. By Feb, 2003, still beneath the hillbilly name of Hayseed Dixie, the music group produced Kiss My Lawn: A Hillbilly Tribute to Kiss. All three albums had been released by Dualtone. Switching with their alter-ego identification, the Kerosene Brothers documented an recording under their very own moniker in Sept, 2003. Released by Audium, Select Your Own Name* bears the subtitle of “Fascinating New Interactive Recording Name Technology.” With tunes like “I’m Gonna Lay,” “Hellfire & Brimstone,” and “Mr. Incorrect,” fans discovered a number of the same tastes as Hayseed Dixie: liquor and women, expressed having a warped love of life. While Hayseed Dixie requires rock & move tunes and provides the hillbilly musical instruments, the Kerosene Brothers consider hillbilly tracks and add the rock and roll & roll musical instruments. And that will take true musical skill, particularly if you’re drunk.

You know, we have to take these characters who, granted, have their separate personalities but, on a lot of levels, are pretty two-dimensional and make them into people with flaws, with insecurities.
Once I tried highlighting my brother's hair, but I think I mixed it wrong. It was as if someone poured kerosene on his head.
I always say that even if this were the worst movie in the world, I'd do it again because it was such a good time.
On Josie and the Pussycats (2001); I'm learning to play guitar. It's very difficult, but I'm determined to do it right so I don't make anybody mad.
On Josie and the Pussycats (2001); I guess I've done one other movie with a group of girls (All I Wanna Do (1998)), but we weren't as close.
You wouldn't recognize me from one project to the next.
Acting just sort of happened and I found that I loved it. It was such a challenge.
Sometimes I'm just a disaster! Other times it seems like I'm one of the most normal people I know.
Hours fly by while I'll just be in my apartment, and somehow it will be messy later. I'll clean it up and eat cereal and watch Ricki Lake and call friends I haven't talked to.
When I came into the business, things changed a lot, and my life was in a real state of flux.
My height was never a factor.
I would love to work with Rosario Dawson & Tara Reid again. We were a team on the set of Josie and the Pussycats (2001), our chemistry was great from the first day of filming & you don't really expect that when you work with new people. I still call them everyday, like sisters to me!
I'd love to do a sequel. Even if it was 'Ernest Goes to Mars 3'- if these girls were in it, I'd do it in a minute". [Referring to Josie and the Pussycats (2001) in an interview she gave to TV Guide (Issue #2505, 31 March 2001; article title "What's new, Pussycats? by Josh Rottenberg)]
I'm not small, I'm space-efficient.
