The Kallikak Family

The Kallikak Family members may be the nom de plume of Andrew Peterson, who, while located in Chicago, recorded the band’s initial Compact disc, The Vineland Public Maturity Range, released by DELIBERATELY Records, described within a press biography as “an experimental psych-folk/noise album revolving around a sociological text about feeble-mindedness.” The music group played shows within the Chicago region and around the united states that shown its curiosity about ambient noises and performance artwork. Peterson then transferred to Portland, OR, and between 2003 and 2005 set up the materials for the Kallikak Family’s second record, Might 23rd 2007, thought to explore “this is of specific times and places in the life span of 1 person, all before Might 23rd 2007, the time on which a lot of money teller forecasted the artist’s loss of life.” It had been released August 23, 2005, by Tell-All Information. The Kallikak Family members released a tour in the summertime of 2005, and Peterson planned to stay in Berkeley, CA.
