The Bay Area’s soul-inflected alternative pop group K.G.B. shaped in 1994 and gained a strong regional following off their energetic concert events. They released a string of indie singles before putting your signature on to Dreamworks Information where they made an appearance on 2000’s Street Trip soundtrack and released the area Cadet EP. The music group, which is made up of Eric “Toby” Tobias (vocals), John “Johnny Genius” Murphy (electric guitar), Leo “Moses” Kramer (bass), Ben Kramer (body organ/trumpet), and Tom Peyton (drums) released their self-titled debut in fall 2001.
