The Johnny Boy

Located in Liverpool, Merseyside, this UK duo was shaped in 2002 by Lolly Hayes (b. Lorraine Hayes; electric guitar, examples, vocals) and Davo (electric guitar, examples, vocals). The duo had taken the name of the band from the type performed by Robert De Niro in Martin Scorsese’s traditional 1973 film, Mean Roads. Their debut ‘Johnny Boy Theme’ premiered over the Welsh unbiased label Boobytrap Information in the beginning of 2003. The one, which paid apparent homage to 60s gal groups, attracted the eye of Vertigo Information who agreed upon the duo and earned the Manic Road Preachers’ Adam Dean Bradfield to create the follow-up one. ‘You WILL BE THE Generation That Bought Even more Shoes AND YOU ALSO Get EVERYTHING YOU Deserve’ a lot more than resided up to its wordy name.
