The Ivory Coast, an alternative solution rock five piece from Boston, is an organization with various backgrounds. Band associates Jay Cox (electric guitar/vocals), Scott Craggs (synthesizer), Drew O’Doherty (electric guitar), Nick Hubben (bass), and Mahmood Shaikh (drums) mix a jangly electric guitar pop sound split with reflective lyrical imagery. The band’s debut The Hurry of Oncoming Visitors, which was completed in 1998, was finally released two years afterwards.
