Peter Anders and Vinnie Poncia began their profession while the Tradewinds, a psychedelic pop duo who have wrote music for performers like the Ronettes, the Crystals, and additional Phil Spector tasks. They transformed their name towards the Innocence in 1967, liberating an eponymous recording that was advertised by their label like a “great time” recording in the vein from the Lovin’ Spoonful. They split up following the one release.
