The Hunts

The Hunts certainly are a seven-piece indie folk family music group comprising twin sisters Jenni and Jessi Hunt and their five brothers Josh, Jordan, Justin, Jonathan, and Jamison. Elevated in a little three-bedroom home on a big parcel in Chesapeake, Virginia, the Hunt kids were each trained violin by their mom Sandy, a fiddle instructor, before shifting to their particular instruments. Their dad Clint, an arborist and part-time musician, would perform locally along with his wife, so that as their kids grew, the duo would swell in proportions to add their developing musical family. Ultimately the Hunt siblings created their own music group, inspired from the sounds from the indie folk growth from the past due 2000s, layering thick harmonies and incorporating fiddle, acoustic guitar, banjo, ukulele, and various other folk instrumentation to their folk-pop audio. After many years of touring the united states, the Hunts fascinated the interest of Cherrytree Information/Interscope which released their 2014 EP Lifestyle Was Basic. Their full-length debut, Those Younger Times, implemented in 2015.
