Playing tough, dynamic, roots-conscious rock and roll & move that references days gone by and today’s in equal measure, the Hounds Here are a Detroit-based group founded by Jason Stollsteimer. Stollsteimer acquired enjoyed international achievement with his prior music group, the Von Bondies, however in 2008, using the band going right through some inner strife, he started writing a couple of songs within a distinctly different design, and assembled several friends to accomplish a one-off present beneath the name Jason Stollsteimer & the Hounds Below. In ’09 2009, the Von Bondies released their third record, Love Hate and Theres You, as well as the group toured the U.S. and European countries in support, but by early 2010, Stollsteimer acquired made a decision to make the Hounds Beneath a heading concern, recruiting a small number of fellow Motor Town music artists to become listed on him, including guitarists Ben Collins and Sean Lynch, drummer Brandon McDonald, and bassist Molly Jean Schoen. This lineup trim an individual, “Crawling Back” b/w “Two Stage,” but lots of the music artists had been dividing their period with other works. In 2011, Stollsteimer announced he previously disbanded the Von Bondies, and he started assembling a fresh, permanent lineup from the Hounds Below. With Stollsteimer on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Skye Thrasher on acoustic guitar, Matthew Hofman on bass, and Griffin Bastian on drums, the Hounds Below started hitting the street, playing shows through the entire country, sharing phases with Dark Rebel Motorcycle Golf club, the Horrors, as well as the Raveonettes, and producing a display appearance in the 2011 South by Southwest music event. The Hounds Below started focus on a full-length recording, You Light Me Up at night, that was released on Slimstyle Information in 2012.
