The Hot Club of Cowtown


Western golf swing revivalists Hot Membership of Cowtown shaped in NORTH PARK, CA in 1996; originally a duo pairing vocalist/violinist Elana Fremerman and vocalist/guitarist Whit Smith, a following proceed to Austin, TX produced area for the addition of bassist Billy Horton. Putting your signature on to Hightone, the trio released its debut record, Swingin’ Stampede!, in nov 1998; the follow-up, High Tales, made an appearance a year afterwards. New bassist Matt Weiner became a member of Smith and Fremerman for 2000’s Dev’lish Mary. Ghost Teach came 2 yrs afterwards in 2002, and it demonstrated the group concentrating more on first material and reducing on the quantity of addresses. Continental Stomp adopted in 2003, with Wishful Considering arriving in ’09 2009, and in 2011, the Warm Golf club finally surrendered to the most obvious and released a tribute to Bob Wills, WHY IS Bob Holler (the recording was in fact released in November of 2010 within the U.K.).
