The Horrible Crowes

Taking a brief break from your Gaslight Anthem in early 2011, frontman Brian Fallon teamed up with guitar tech Ian Perkins to create the Horrible Crowes, an Americana part project named following the “Twa Corbies” folk ballad. Influenced by Tom Waits, Nick Cave, and Tag Lanegan, the Terrible Crowes published slow-burning songs which were smokier and even more stripped-down compared to the Gaslight Anthem’s punked-up anthems. “Behold the Hurricane” launched the duo’s audio during the summer time of 2011, adopted in September from the Elsie LP.
