6 The family surname was spelled "Arcouet" many generations back. His father had French-Canadian, English, Swiss-German, German, Scottish, Irish, and Welsh ancestry. David's maternal grandfather, Yusseff "Joseph" Nowack, was a Jewish immigrant from Bila Zerkwa, Kiev, then in the Russian Empire, while David's maternal grandmother, Claire Hibel, was born in New York, to Russian Jewish parents.

17 During a live televised event in Los Angeles, the WWF was "fighting" an invasion from WCW and ECW. Arqutte, Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins and Arnold Schwarzenegger were all in attendance at the event in one night. This is interesting for that fact that David was a former WCW talent, Billy was a loyal ECW supporter and Arnold had always been a WWF supporter. The WWF showed each one of them on screen. David got a huge laugh for wearing a mask and then ripping it off to show who he was.
18 13 June 2004: birth of his daughter, named Coco Riley Arquette Coco Arquette.

22 On a 2002 episode of WWE Raw (1993), he sat behind announcers Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross for the entire show while holding a sign reading "Former WCW Champion". He was there simply as a fan, and the announcers never acknowledged him.
23 He was among two people to be a non wrestler and hold the WCW World Title, the other was Vince Russo, a booker. Another non wrestler who held another title was Eric Bischoff, as WCW Hardcore Champion. The company was sold within a year of all of this.
24 Since radio host Howard Stern continually referred to his wife as "Courteney Cock" in a 2000 interview, Arquette responded by calling the King of All Media "Howard Sperm".
25 Is the voice of Eddie Wachowski, a character in the EA Sports Big game SSX Tricky (2001) (for Playstation2, Nintendo Gamecube, Xbox).
26 His wedding to Courteney Cox was held at San Francisco's Grace Cathedral.
27 Formerly brother-in-law of actors Nicolas Cage and Thomas Jane who were married to his sister, Patricia Arquette.

29 On WCW Thunder (1998) on 4/27/00, he became the WCW Heavyweight Champion in a special tag match, pitting him and his partner Diamond Dallas Page against Jeff Jarrett and Eric Bischoff. The stipulation was that whoever got the pin would become champ, and after his involvement in previous matches, Arquette was able to pin Bischoff and win the title.

1 I'm trying to keep my personal life personal. It's very hard for me because I'm a very honest person.
2 Kids today are smarter than we ever were. And they've got computers, too, which is awesome. They're scary to me.
3 When you're just an actor, maybe not the top of the list guys, you get constant rejection and it's fun.
4 I love when you go to a horror film with real horror fans and everybody's there watching, getting involved and screaming. That's when it's most alive and exciting for me.
5 To get involved with a cause, you really have to become aware of it. You have to go on the ground and see with your own eyes, the people who have been affected by it, their process in how they're combating it, and what the organization represents.
6 Yeah, I definitely wanted to do a kids' movie because I have a kid. I want to do things that my daughter can see soon - when she is old enough to know what a movie is.
7 The first horror film I remember seeing in the theatre was Halloween and from the first scene when the kid puts on the mask and it is his POV, I was hooked.
8 I don't know why I always end up talking about my relationships. I try not to.
9 I seriously started drinking probably when I was about twelve. Kids are doing a lot of stuff very early.
10 I'm not one to run around with different girls. I like someone that makes me feel good and that I can make feel good.
11 I'm trying figuring out how to be the best person I can be. But it's been a process of trial and error.
12 People that go through what I went through and people going through divorce, it's really a difficulty process; it's heartbreaking and it hurts really bad. It can really mess with your head.
13 I don't want to lie. I dislike dishonesty. And I work in Hollywood, a town and a business that relies on a lot of falsehoods with people hiding behind different facades. I don't want to be a part of that.
14 I like to mumble when I act, 'cause I think it's more realistic. For some reason, the impediment has given me the accent of a Mexican gangster.
15 I know I probably offend some people. I have been talking a little too much so I'm trying not to talk as much.
16 I love round people, I love skinny people. I love people in general; we've got to get past labels and stop being so critical about everything.
17 I can relate more to people at a horror convention than I can to most Hollywood executives. They're more passionate.
