Biography
Due to the relatively calm music picture in Bristol, Britain, the Heads include singer/guitarist Simon Cost, lead guitarist Paul R.A. Allen, bassist H.O. Morgan, and drummer Wayne C. Maskell. On the top, their 3rd party 1995 debut, Comforting With the Mind, seemed to slot machine directly into the middle-’90s bustling stoner rock and roll scene, constructed upon predominant Sabbath and ’70s hard rock and roll affects. But upon nearer inspection, it quickly became clear how the Heads never actually managed to get that far. Rather, the band pulls the majority of their motivation through the late ’60s, merging the noises of proto-punk Detroit and post-British Invasion psychedelic rings with the acidity trips normal of U.K. space rock and roll pioneers like Hawkwind. Contacted from the Man’s Wreck label (business owner and famous designer Frank Kozik frequently claimed that these were his preferred music group), the Mind spent another three years taking part in the unusual stoner rock and roll collection and issuing an abundance of 7″ singles and break up E.P.s, the majority of which were ultimately compiled onto 1998’s ENOUGH TIME IS CURRENTLY! Personal variations and university research drove the music group apart for another couple years, however they ultimately made an urgent return in the entire year 2000 making use of their second/third recording (based on who you talk to), the critically acclaimed EVERYONE KNOWS We Got Nowhere.
