Among Canada’s most popular homegrown rock and roll organizations in the ’60s, though they made zero inroads to the others of THE UNITED STATES. Through the English-speaking community of Montreal, the group was extremely explicit within their wish to emulate the Rolling Rocks, & most of their 1966-1968 singles (aswell as their exclusive LP, from 1967) had been within a raunchy R&B/blues-rock design. As songwriters their range was quite limited, and far of their materials consisted of addresses or slim rewrites of well-known blues riffs. Their most effective one, “1-2-5,” obtained small popularity when it had been reissued using one of the initial Pebbles compilations of garage area singles in the ’70s. All their materials was reissued in the ’80s.
