The Hangovers are led by former Raincoats member Gina Birch (vocals, guitar, sampling), also featuring Simon Fisher Turner (guitar, keyboards), Ida Akesson (keyboards, sampling), Phil Legg (keyboards), John Frenett (bass), Mary Deigan (bass), and Joe Dilworth (drums). Their debut record, Gradual Dirty Tears, premiered in the us early in 1998.
