The Hangabouts

The Hangabouts certainly are a power pop trio based out of Southeast Michigan. Originally produced in the middle-2000s by multi-instrumentalists Gregory Addington and John Lowry, they released an EP, 2006’s The Odd Clutter, beneath the name Suburban Hi-Fi. Employed in a vintage pop-influenced design, their music recalled the crafty melodic rock and roll of artists just like the Hollies, Big Superstar, the Beach Children, Neil Finn, and Paul McCartney.
