The Gracious Few

When Live continued hiatus in July 2009, guitarist Chad Taylor, bassist Patrick Dahlheimer, and drummer Chad Gracey made a decision to resurrect a few of Taylor’s old songs and continue using together. What started as some informal jam periods quickly converted into a full-fledged music group following the addition of Candlebox vocalist Kevin Martin. Martin brought along guitarist Sean Hennesy, who’d became a member of Candlebox’s ranks being a sideman in 2006, as well as the five music artists turned their complete focus on the Gracious Few after Live split up once and for all in November. Almost a year afterwards, the post-grunge supergroup started recording an record with Jerry Harrison, previously of Talking Minds. The self-titled debut premiered in fall 2010, accompanied by a nationwide tour.
