The Chicago Gangsters recorded for Silver Plate in the mid and later ’70s, then changed their name towards the Gangsters while recording for Temperature from 1979 to 1981. They under no circumstances made it within the hump, despite slicing some good funk and spirit ballads. These were a family group group offering keyboardist and vocalist Sam, trombonist Leroy, drummer Chris, and vocalist Adam McCant.
