Biography
Shaped in 1965 in Billings, Montana, the Frantics had been a sextet who drew their affects from Jeff Beck, Jimmy Web page, and, later on, Jim Morrison (note the Lizard Files imprint for his or her second album). These were a little for the weighty side with regards to their musical strategy, and had been ambitious — they performed throughout the USA and relocated many times, to New Mexico and to Colorado Springs, Colorado, before settling in LA in 1969. The group released a set of singles, “La Perform Da Da” b/w “Path 66” and “Midnight to Six Man” b/w “Shady Sam.” In addition they cut two albums, Rest YOUR BRAIN, which dated from 1968 and was unreleased before ’90s, another album, Conception, past due in their background. At around that same period, they lowered the “s” using their name and worked well because the Frantic.
