The Four of Us

Grosse Pointe, Michigan-based folk-rockers the 4 folks are best remembered today being a starting pad for potential Eagle Glenn Frey. Ironically, the group’s documented result predates Frey’s entrance to their rates — debuting circa 1965 using a cover of Bob Dylan’s “It’s AROUND Today, Baby Blue” highlighted on the sampler LP spotlighting the neighborhood teen membership the Hideout, the Four folks subsequently issued a set of singles, “You’re Gonna End up being Mine” along with a rendition from the Byrds’ “Experience a lot Better.” Frey became a member of immediately after, and his tenure using the music group demonstrated short-lived, as he shortly formed a fresh device dubbed the Subterraneans; various other information in the Four folks remains scarce.
