Biography
The line-up of the close-harmony 50s US vocal group, whose initial success was attained by producing cover versions of dark R&B records, comprised Marge Rosse (b. New Milford, NJ, USA; lead), Bea Rosse (b. New Milford, NJ, USA; low tranquility) and Geri Rosse (b. New Milford, NJ, USA; tranquility). Their mom was a choral movie director and organist. After departing senior high school they became a member of an all-girl troupe and continued an eight-month tour. Afterwards, they were became a member of by their sibling Frank on electric guitar, and made an appearance on radio and in theatres and night clubs. After Frank was wiped out in World Battle II, girls re-formed in 1944 being a trio and proved helpful for quite some time on Perry Como’s radio and tv shows; they also supported him on many records, like the US #1 1 strikes ‘You’re Adorable’ and ‘Hoop-Dee-Doo’.
